Helping women find their voices and tell their stories is a passion of mine, as is being part of a writers’ community. The energy I receive from my volunteer efforts seems to come back to me in multiples of ten.
I was a founding member and Board member of Write On Mamas, a Bay Area writing group that flourished from 2012 through 2019. We met monthly to write and hear speakers, curated readings and published two anthologies. We continue to be a supportive community of writers and friends.
I am an active member of the California Writers Club (CWC) and with other club members act as a judge for teen writers who submit to the Scholastic Awards.
